Privacy notice
What happens to your information when you look at a card, leave your details on one, ask one a question, or make your own.

Looking at a card
A card shows what its owner has chosen to publish: their name, their contact details, a photo and anything else they have put on it. It is public at its own link, so anyone with that link can see it. When the owner takes the card down or deletes it, it stops being available at that link.
Looking at a card records nothing about you. We count how many times each card was opened on each day, as one number per card per day, and nothing else: no visitor, no time, no device, no address.
Leaving your details
If you leave your details on a card, we store exactly what you enter and when:
- What
- Your first name and email; if you give them, your last name, phone number and message. Which card you left them on, and when.
- Who sees it
- Only the owner of that card, by email and in their account, so they can contact you about this. It is never sold or given to anyone else.
- How long
- At most 24 months from when you send, and never longer than the card stays up. Then it is deleted.
- Why
- You asked for it to reach the owner, by sending the form.
After you send, you get a link that deletes your details. It works once. Using it erases them from engagemojo at once; the email the owner already received is theirs to keep or delete. The owner can also delete what you sent.
We collect nothing else about you when you send: no device or network identity, no tracking, no profile across cards, and nothing added from anywhere else.
Asking a card a question
Some cards answer questions from what their owner has published. If you ask one, we store the question and the answer it gave. The owner reads the questions asked of their card; you are told this before you ask.
We keep each question and its answer for at most 12 months, and never longer than the card stays up. We record nothing about who asked: no name, no email, no address, no device, and nothing that links one question to another or to details you left.
If you have an account
To make cards you sign in with Google or with a code we email you. We keep your email, your name, and the picture Google shares if you sign in with Google, and a session so you stay signed in. We keep the cards you make, their photos and documents, and the leads and questions they receive.
You can download your leads, delete any lead or card, and delete your account from the Account screen. A deleted card is erased after 30 days; a deleted account and everything in it is erased after 30 days.
Writing to us
If you write to us through the contact page, we keep what you send: your name, email, company, team size, topic and message, and when you sent it. We use it to reply, keep it for at most 24 months, and then delete it.
The contact page and sign-in use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated programs. It looks at signals from your browser for that check alone.
If you pay for Pro
Stripe takes your payment and keeps your card details; we never see them. We keep your Stripe customer reference, your plan, how it is billed and when it renews, so we can show them on your Account page.
Who handles your data
Adaptive Digital Ventures LLC, which runs engagemojo.com, is the controller of this data. Cloudflare hosts the product, stores its data, sends its emails and runs the models behind the card's answers and the design assistant, on our instructions, as our processor. Google handles sign-in if you choose it. Stripe handles payments for Pro.
If you add a card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, the pass is issued through Apple or Google and lives in your wallet under their terms.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Email privacy@engagemojo.com and we will answer within a month. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
